Gyurza-035PE Type 1 triboelectric perimeter security detector. Used for perimeter security with fences of any design or combinations of various fence types.

Listed in the Unified Registry of Russian Radioelectronic Products by the RF Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Operating Principle

The sensor element (SE) is a triboelectric cable that is rigidly fixed on a fence. When trying to get over the fence an intruder inevitably causes fence deformations regardless of his/her type of action – this in its turn results in deformation of the SE. The wires inside the cable are rubbing against the sheath thus generating an electrical charge which is received at the input of the signal processing unit. The detector generates an ALARM signal by opening the contacts of the output optical relay. The detector is compatible with any control and indicating equipment.

Main Specifications

  • Number of detection zones– 1;
  • Detection probability– 0.98;
  • Sensor element type – triboelectric cable (TPPep-10P SKICHEL or TPPep-5P SKICHEL);
  • Max SE length – 500 m;
  • Max intrusion detection area length (depends on the fence design):
    • Over a fence arm extensions (SE laid in one line) – up to 500 m
    • On the fence panels (SE laid in two lines) – up to 250 m
    • On the fence panels (SE laid in three lines) – up to 160 m
  • Operating temperature range: -65 to +700С;
  • Ingress protection level – IP55;
  • Supply voltage–8 to 36 V;
  • Power consumption – 1.5 mA (up to 3.5 mA in Setup mode).

Features

  • High noise immunity combined with high detection capability – provided that installation was performed in compliance with the Operation Manual almost complete absence of false alarms can be achieved;
  • Possible to use under exposure to strong EM fields (e.g. directly under 750 kV power lines) or strong background vibrations (e.g. in close proximity to railroad tracks);
  • Can be used in extreme cold conditions (down to - 65 ОС) with no heated cabinet required, ensuring low power consumption (consumption is 1.5 mA); “cold start” possible;
  • Simple to setup and use;
  • High reliability. Warranty period – 10 years.

1. Intended Use

1.1. The detector is intended for perimeter fences including lengthy perimeters and is designed to generate alarm signal in response to a local deformation of a fence and the sensor element mounted on this fence caused by an intruder’s attempt to climb over the fence (without any special technical means) or to violate integrity of the fence and/or sensor element and its fixings.

1.2. Power supply to the detector should be arranged from uninterrupted DC power source within the range of 8 to 35 V.

1.3. The detector is designed for continuous 24-hour operation at an ambient air temperature of -65 to +70°С, relative humidity up to 100 % at +40 °С, climatic version of the detector is O1 (acc. to GOST 15150-69 standard).

2. Technical Data

2.1. Maximum length of secured area depends on fence type and design as well as on the sensor element installation pattern and with the sensor cable length of 500m is within the limits of 120 to 500 m. Maximum sensor cable length is 500m.

2.2. Detector indication modes:

  • GUARD – output circuit resistance below 30 Ohm;
  • ALARM - output circuit resistance above 20 MOhm;
  • MALFUNCTION - output circuit resistance sporadically varies from below 30 Ohm to over 20 MOhm.

2.3. The detector can form a detection zone with any number of fence turns at any angles.

2.4. The Detector’s output signal is a relay-type, wired signal transmission.

2.5. With signal LED off the power consumption of the detector from DC source is not exceeding 1.5 mA.

2.6. With signal LED on in ALARM mode power consumption of the detector from DC source is not more than 3.5 mA.

2.7. The detector retains operability with output circuit load current not exceeding 30 mA and voltage not more than 60 V.

2.8. The detector meets the EM compatibility requirements for security systems acc. to GOST R 50009-2000 standard:

  • Immunity to microsecond high energy pulse disturbance by the SE circuit and DC power inputs (2 kV pulses as per GOST R 51317.4.5-99);
  • Immunity to nanosecond pulse disturbance by the SE circuit and DC power inputs (2 kV pulse as per GOST R 51317.4.4-2007);
  • Immunity to radio-frequency electromagnetic fields (electromagnetic field strength 10 V/m within the frequency range of 80 to 1000 MHz as per GOST R 51317.4.3-2006);
  • Immunity to electrostatic discharge (air discharge of 15 kV and contact discharge of 8 kV as per GOST R 51317.4.2-2010);
  • Emits no conductive industrial radiofrequency noise from DC power connection ports above the limiting values set for technical means used in residential, commercial, and industrial areas with low power consumption;
  • Emits no industrial radiofrequency noise above the limiting values set for technical means intended for use in residential, commercial, and industrial areas with low power consumption.
